Hey Airboss. Don't know yet. Probably the Basin. My mini-t is needs new batteries cause the Scorpion motor sucks up too much juice.

what up guys! im not gonna be down there this weekend, but im definitely going to try and get something flyable for my break, which starts the 7th. ill probably bring down the stryker too and have some foamie plank fun. :thumbup:

Hello airboss and local oc guys. I have been flying a new place recently. It is off bake and the 5 fwy away from everything. No fwy's No people NO nothing. its off bake at the water towers. On the weekend you can fly gas to. Bring your helis, planes, gliders, girlfriends friends etc. etc.
Look up rancho parkway and orchard in foothill ranch. It is a huge huge vacant plot of land.

On the weekend it gets crowded. I have seen 3 -4 people show up all at the same time. Then there is a upper flight area and lower area. So dont send any lame people only the nice people.

yeah i agree no lamo's! are the guys from gyro hobbies there? can we fly nitro? PM me..... hey bryguy you still remember how to fly? you should come out to irvine if you get a chance. tomorrow at AP we receive our new main blades. at 11 or so finnless is going to video ..evryone let people know we moved to this thred. thanks guys and see you tomorrow....dont eat too much turkey......gobble gobble gobble.

i can still fly probably, but i guarantee not as well as when i last flew with you guys :(
pretty much i just have to get used to using a rudder and collective again, then i should be good. I've kept up my orientation stuff with the plank so thats always helpful :wink:

finnless is always saying to fly my planks inverted and do flat rudder turns , says it will help with invert heli. also when hovering with plank do so with bottom toward self. i have broken 3 planks in the last 2 weeks.

I think the funniest time was when the crazy OC lady reported that a real helicopter went down at the Suzuki field. That was drama.

we got good Fri. :) . the newest align scale for 450 MD500 so beautify also trex 500 at the field. today, we will eating dirt at Irvine.

I just wanted everyone to know. Airboss and I went to the secret water towers to fly today and the wicked management lady saw us flying and called the police. She told them and I quote" these guys are here flying those r/c helicopters. I am scared". So we are changing batteries and here comes a tank with swat on the side. They had m-16 and crazy swat gear. They had us step away from our helis and lay on the ground. It was crazy. I have never been in jail before until today. I should of listened to lennar.
BTW NICE FIRST POST LENNAR. WELCOME TO THE FORUM.
P.S. this didnt really happen. In fact we flew and things were great besides the wind!!!!
P.S.S. I do find it funny that somebody put up some phony no tresspassing signs. Remember that those signs apply to everyone including the people that are trying to hide this spot.
What's up guys. Got my shogun and blade all happy, and a new plank. Still haven't finished the mini titan... Hope to smell some nitro soon. I'll bring the sim and laptop. I'll see some of you in a few hours.

Man, just sold my Mini-Titan so I can buy the Gauzar Mars 480 for $199 which I just ordered tooo. It looks soo sick guys. Can't wait to put it together. My wife thinks it looks like a dinosaur, but I think its sick looking.

I've always liked the Gazaurs. The Mars always seemed to look like an alien from the Aliens movies to me. Of the Posieden or the Mars, I'd go with the Mars as well.
Supposed to be a great heli. You should like this flavor as well. I'm interested in hearing how the build goes.
I still haven't flown the GY401 I got from you. Hope it works :D
