So it's a Titan 50 and has an OS 50 Hyper. I think I'll use my JR 9 ch 2.4 receiver. Other than that, I need everything else for this bird. Also since it's my first nitro bird, I need recommendations for nitro support gear. I'm pretty much a greenhorn still so I don't need the hottest 3D equipment but don't want to re-purchase items later as I advance.

Thanx.

Anyone?

What are a good set of servos, maybe HS-635HB for cyclic and pitch? What about the throttle? What size receiver pack?

I guess I'll go with a 401 but what digi tail servo should I mate it with?

Any other pointers/recommendations would be helpful.

Usually People Run Futaba S9252's on the cyclic and maybe throttle. As for the tail, use a S9254 that you can buy as a combo with the 401

I'm using HS-5625MG for swash and throttle and Logictech 6100T gyro and servo on the tail.

Mine has 9252s on cyclic/collective and a 611 for the tail. The 401/9254 is a cheaper gyro alternative that still works great, especially for ease of setup. Newer pilots won't notice much (if any) difference between the 2 in flight. The MP5 or the new Align pipe are good matches for the Hyper. The Multigov works great to keep the rpms under control and setup is very easy.

Helidirect.com has some great 600mm blades for 45 bucks. I have used a few sets and they work great for half the price of average carbon blades.

If I go digital servos, what pack should I run, maybe a 2600 mAh lion with an Arizona regulator? I'd like to have three safe/solid flights between charging.
