Has anyone tried the E-85 gas. I ask because it doesn't hardly have a gas smell.

I personally have not used it and for a very important reason; E85 contains only 15% gasoline and has 85% ethanol. I would never use it in a gasser. The thermal energy is too low in my opinion. Your carb gaskets (if rubber) will not like it either. To tell which gaskets you have, see if you gaskets are black or brown (you can see from the side of the carb while assembled most likely). This can be done without taking the carb apart.
Use regular unleaded as it is all that is needed and provides the best results. If you are flying where there is extreme heat you can use the premium blend.
E85 is a poor excuse for engine fuel.
I myself, may be switching back to gasoline since the meth-heads have made the naptha based fules hard to come by and now have a poor selection.

I was thinking since Coleman fuel was a lower octane then it would be close to E85. But there I go thinking again.
