Sounds like it's time to let that Trex 600 find a new happy home.

I'm just being cranky, I really want a Logo 500 and a Trex 600n but can afford both so I have to chose one. I'm thinkin its gonna be the Logo. I cant seem to find any faults with the Logo! :noteworthy

Well Hulley, it seems to me you have convinced yourself. I do not feel you will have any regrets seriously. I really like my flybared 5003D, it performs extremely well. The last FF I had it at a bunch of peeps gave it a whirl, it became the town bicycle that day, lol. Anyhow several people there actually had the 600N, I let em all have a go at it. The honest truth was everyone of them asked "can I try it again?", and every single one of them said "I can't beleive how powerful it is and how light it feels". That was when I had a "so-so" system in it to.

Thanks Shawn, I was really wanting the V-bar but I think I'll have to wait on that for a little while. Its good to know I can get into a Logo for a decent amount and have a very capable heli with the ability to upgrade to V-bar later when I have the funds!

I'm starting to itch again for a 5003D........ I was hoping to get something that swings a 425mm to 450mm blade, but the Logos are so nice.

Jeremy,

This may sound funny, I upgraded my Logo 500 3D to a Logo 600 VSTABI.
Now with the parts like .5Mod gears......I am taking a project to make an Logo 400 ( spinning SAB 430mm blade ) by reducing the boom with smaller motor, servos to drop the weight while still flying 7S or 8S A123. Hopefully I get closed to 2kg VSTABI.

Tested with all my electronic include 12S A123, cut down Logo 500 boom by about 100mm with Hurrican belt, spinning 430mm SAB at 2.8kg.

Most parts ready while some on its way, will be building next week end while now in Japan for vacation.

Well my 5003D is ever bit as capable as my 6003D is with Vbar so far. You will enjoy it, just make sure to spend the money correctly up front on the good stuff and you will have no regrets.

I'm also torn by the upcoming T-Rex "500". I should just face facts and realize I'm going to end up with both, but, but...

I'd make heli love to it. Take it down and leave it begging for more.

Well while you folks are scaling down I want to scale up !! just love the thwack thwack of them big blades - considering an Ion-2 but don't think it ALL that different from the L6003D - might have to go nitro again (ugh) and look into a Synergy N9.

BTW worth keeping the T600 as a beater - if the weather's $h*thouse or too many planks flying out comes the T600 ALi and the Logo stays safe in the back of the car - just dreading smacking it (which is why I'm busy building the 5003D as backup)

Yeah, I'm going to keep the T-Rex. For all it's failings, sometimes it's still cool to pull out the big old SUV and keep the sports car in the garage. It brings whole new meaning to "off-roading", however...

I had a Raptor E-620. It was like a tough Ford 1 ton farm truck.

It really flew well but was super heavy. Makes a great sport flyer.... that's mostly how I fly so it served me well. After owning a Mikado I couldn't go back.
