View Full Version : Touched wires on Thunder power now cant charge??

I was unplugging my battery from my triton jr charger and accidentally pulled the banana clips out of the charger and they touched. Now I get 0volts when I check from red to black with a volt meter. I would check from the balance plug but I cant get the meter leads in the small connector. Did I just ruin my battery?
Most likely yes, this is why you should use deans connectors and not banana.

Check the balance plug - if its hot (shows voltage), then the internal wiring/cell connections could have de-soldered from the cells from the heat - remove shrink wrap, resolder, get new shrink wrap on ebay.
