hi every1...well i just received my new ar6100 rx.. well i did the binding, after bounded turned off the rx and tx, attached a couple of servo ailron and elevetor turned on the tx then the rx..all is well..turned off the rx add another servo rudder..turned on..no power, will not initialize..then tried to re-bind., will not bind just a small twicth on the servo and short flicker of light..tried this several time..even with no servos, just a power and bind plug.. after several try i gave up.. an hour later tried it again to my surprise it binded..so turn off the rx and tx removed the bind plug..turn on again.. again will not bound to my tx.. this time i timed it..after 5 imn.. tried it again this time it worked...power off agian then on..will not bound to my tx(no light)..rx off again wait 5 min. then it will work..did this several times..and that is the only way i can get this rx to work.. this is my 2nd ar6100 and i have no issue with the first one and no problem with the ar7000 rx...
did i get a lemon???
any1 have same problem..??

1) Check your power source to make sure you have enough voltage.
2) May just be a defective Rx. It happens.

1) thought that it may be the power..so i wired up a 9 volt battery (this rx is rated up to 9volts).. still the same..did notice after a 3rd try leave it powered for 10-15 seconds then it will bound with the tx..sometimes??
2)yes i got a lemon..tried to return to my lhs..they refused cuz i used it...i'll give horizon hobby a call but looking at their repair policy.. it will cost me to send it, plus a $10 return shipping and $30/hr to repair.. so i think i'm SOL..

I don't think so, I am pretty sure Horizon will fix for free since it is new. You do have the receipt? Or get the LHS to give you a copy/new one.
The return policy is actually from Horizon, they want the defective device to come back to them so they can check it out and see what went wrong.
I sent a 6100 back for updating to V1.2 and it was back in about 10 days round trip.
