Any one using these connectors? Best looking battery connector I have seen, lots of surface area. Part # 2171

Take a look at the Neu 6mm bullet connector, those IMHO are loads better than the 4mm style.

Matt,
Yes, the red 4mm connectors you show. I have some of the 6mm commectors you show as well, those are on my motor connection. The 4mm Mikados are on my Trex 600.
Thanks,

So, for those 6mm, do you still just do a solder-fill? It seemed an awful lot of solder would be required for the wires involved.

I do not use them on my motor connections. Usually I do not use a connector at all on the ESC-Motor connection unless its a testing situation and I know I will be changing motors often. On the ESC input and pack connection they work just fine and you do not need to "fill" as much as you would think.

On the 6mm you can bend the wire 90 degrees, out the side hole to take up space and increase mechanical area. Trim after soldering.

Anyone else selling these besides Neu, just looking for something closer to home.

If you want to use 4mm for anything, the ones you show are very high quality. I have been using them for some time. I do agree that if you have a system figured out and are not going to change things it is better to direct solder the joint. :)
