Gee Jeremy - what a bummer - so sorry to see that  - you live you die - you fly you burn - it's all part of a circle of life thing - none of us progress without experience and sometimes it's a bitter pill.
OK enough sentimentalising - get those frames stripped down, get a picture off to FP to enquire about their 50% crash damage warrantly and post a list of bits needed - looks like the tail came off relatively unscathed - is the boom OK ? might be mostly frames and lipo

I was suprised the tail is perfect other than the boom.
Both frame halves are toast.
One Flightpower 5s EVO 25C 3700..... toast
Flybar
One blade grip
Mainshaft
Landing gear
One servo striped out
bits and pieces etc. etc. etc.

OK so she went in more or less nose first - well after the shock has worn off - get back in the saddle - get your order into FP for a crash damage replacement lipo (FP rock:thumbup:) and beg - borrow - sell your body - pawn the dog - do what it takes to get them spare parts on order I reckon about US$120 worth + blades & lipo - keep us posted man and good luck!

Really sorry to see you crashed your new bird. I take it your newly painted canopy is dusted?? Very sorry man. I know these heli's are built to be light, but man plastic is plastic and it doesnt seem like these frames are very strong. Rigid airframe yes, but not made to be crashed at all. Not trying to talk bad about Mikado because they are made the way they are for a reason. I just recall everyone saying how strong these frames were, even over carbon fiber and this is obviously NOT TRUE.
Sorry to ask but could you tell us exactly how it went in? ( speed, direction, orientaion, etc.)
I hope you at least have a back-up heli to fly.

It hit full throttle going farely fast from about 30 feet up. Hit on it's nose at a 45 degree angle. I don't think any frames could survive that kind of hit.. carbon or not.
I did not have the canopy on it so that's one thing I can be very happy about.
I'm making a parts list now. It will be about $400+ range....... I think that's not to bad really. Still sucks though.

Wow Jeremy, I'm really sorry to see that crash so soon after your build. That really sucks. I guess we all knew getting a Logo was not going to be a cheap in case of a crash.

Sympathy and spare parts all around.

The sadest thing of all is how this all happened.
I was outside just taking it easy flying in figure eights and a loop or two. Doing nothing fancy. Well next thing you know I hear a dog barking and running at me..... my brothers big happy Lab dog. He lives over the hill from my parents house on the family land. So anyways I set my radio on a tripod when I fly because I'm hadicaped and can't hold my transmitter on my own means. Back to the dog. It comes running and barking and starts jumping all over me and the tripod, nocking it over on the ground then me on the ground. Next the heli hits 6ft from me. Then the dog gets spooked by the heli hitting and runs home!!! Disorintation yes.... hard laying on the ground grabing for the remote and looking back up to see what the heli is doing then smack!!! Not enough time to do anything or tell what it's doing plus it's late in the evening and cloudy.
I feel like killing me a dog. I just feel sick about the whole thing.
Wow, that's some carnage !
I've put mine in twice already, first time I had a bit of a brain fade and killed power while hovering inverted 6 inches up. That wasn't too bad, just shafts, blades and a boom.
The second one I think the reciever saw low voltage and it just tumbled down from about 30 feet up. That did the frames, boom, shafts, canopy, blades and my flightpower 10s 4350mah was severely bent up. I just ordered a new kit to replace it and the battery is charging and balancing okay, thank goodness.
I just had a couple 10s 25c 3700 packs replaced via flightpower's 50% crash warranty. Very nice customer service !
And trexn8, you've clearly never seen the carnage that results from planting a carbon framed logo 14 !
Much worse, and more expensive to repair.
Orientation practice is something I wish I'd spent more time on, it'd have saved me a ton of money, lol.
Maybe throw in a crazed dog once in a while to keep me sharp !
That sucks though, sue the dog for damages !
Good luck with the rebuild, don't let it get you down Jeremy.

yeah i think it is a jinx. it always seems like if i say "one last flight" or "I will just fly this one pack" i always seem to crash. now i always say i am goin to fly again. so i dont make the heli gods mad.

I know it sucks when you crash and it's not even your or the helicopters fault! :o

From now on I will call my brothers house and tell him to put the damn dogs in the garage before I fly. (Trying to find humor in all this)

Doesn't take much to make them heli gods mad - good advice though - also I say if you crash one heli - don't fly the other(s) as there is only one thing worse than a crashed heli and that is TWO crashed helis

Here is a link to the 9252 gears and maybe one of the other cases are interchangeable (needs more research).

Or just google MIK{part#}. In the case of 956 & 061 just precede with 0 since the parts are listed with 4 digits.

He called me twice tonight to ask questions about his website..... couldn't bring myself to causing him to flip out over his dog. Didn't tell him......yet. Got to think of a way to break it to him gently.
