In response to all the questions I have decided to post the specs of the new machine. These specs are of the Prototype that I am presently flying. The production model as I understand it will be the same, I will post any changes if they come about
Weight 16 lbs
Height 17 1/2
Length 61 1/2
Fuel capacity 44 oz main tanks
UAT 6 oz
10 tooth pinion with 90 tooth main gear
Wren 54 MK3 with Wren interstage
Bailey's gearbox
810 V-blades, 110 V-blade on tail with V paddles
JR 8611 servo's on the flight controls
Futaba 601 with 9251 on the tail
Duralite 7.4 with 5.1 regulator on the flight controls
Duralite 4000 ECU pack
The helicopter is flying exellent and is very responsive, It feels like flying a standard gasser on steroids, it is very smooth and predictable with no bad habits to date. The combination of V-blades and paddles are just unbeleivable. I am also extremely impressed with the performance of the Duralite systems onboard. The Wren engine combo is nothing short or amazing, smooth and plenty of power to spare, also the support from the folks at Wren is very very good I have found them to be beyond helpful. To answer the questions about the gearbox, it runs like a Swiss watch!! Thanks to Mike Bailey. Wren. Jack at Duralite, and without doubt a big thanks to Larry,Chris and Maryanne at Bergen
Hopefuly I will be able to meet alot of you who have questiions at the events this year.
