I'd like to get a coaxial for indoor use, but I have never looked into them before. Which one is good? So far the ones I know about are:
Blade CX ($170)
Blade CX2 ($190)
Hirobo Lama ($270)
ESky Co-Co Lama (Hobby Lobby) ($100)Does any one of these have a lower cost of ownership than the others? Better flying? Longer flight times?

Parts for the CX2 are readily available, so I'd probably recommend going that route. I started with a CX2; it's a nice little heli and helped me more than expected when I moved up to my Diablo. I'd recommend the CX2 over the CX, mainly due to the 2.4GHz radio system on the CX2 (less potential for radio glitches).

The reality is the CX2 is no better than the Lama V3, so you should probably spend the least amount of money if you are going the coaxial route. the Hirobo is nice, but for that cost you can get a Lama V3, put the Xtreme sport conversion and Xtreme blades on it, and still have a hundred bones to play with.
Xheli is having a sale on the Lama V3 for $69. I love mine, it flies great, is very durable, and I have not had to replace any motors or electronics yet. (your mileage may vary).
Here is a pic of my V3 with the Xtreme sport conversion.

A good feature about the CX2 is that the radio transmitter, the LP5DSM, can be used elsewhere with Spektrums recievers! So its not just confined to the CX2 use, basically along with a coaxial helicopter, you get a 5 channel Spektrum radio. Good deal IMO

Thanks for the input guys! There are two hobby stores near me; one has the Esky Lama and the other has the CX2.
Are most of the parts interchangeable between the two? They look VERY similar.

Not 100%. The Lama uses separate blade grips and blades whereas the CX2 has the grips and blades in one unit; the two grip/blade units clamp together around the shaft. Plus, I think the Lama's inner shaft is longer.
