Spektrum DX7 receiver shutdown Question

Hi,
Wonder if the folk who have experienced a shutdown of their Spektrum DX7 receiver in flight would indicate if they fly gasser or electric. If electric do you fly with a CC HV 85?

Ive Never had one shut down on me. Flying a 450 with 3 DS285s and an SM22 on the align esc/bec.

Thats right, I am trying to get a picture of what factors may cause this problem, so far it seems as if electrics suffer more than Gasser's.
