I had an EP100 and it was very difficult and twitchy to fly, even more so than a Trex 450. I would not reccomend it to a person starting heli's. Its definitely for advanced flyers.

the walkera 4#3 mini micro fp picco size heli is a blast to fly inside and i have had mine outside in a 4mph wind and it did pretty well with that too.
i own 3 of them and i think they are great for flying inside. i have a minizoom pro v2 and 2 Gaui Hurricane 200's and none of those should be flown in someones home. they can cause alot of damage. would you frly a t-rex inside? same idea.

Lama V4 The Best Choice.
Easy To Fly - Cheap Parts - Verrrryyyy Stable

I agree about the Lama V4... Any of the coaxials really, but the lama is really tough and flies really great, not to mention the entire RTF package is really cheap... The other alternative is the Hirobo XRB... Basically exactly the same except foam blades and not as tough, not to mention well over twice the price...
When it comes to indoors unless you have very large rooms in your house you'll really want a coaxial (i.e. not tail rotor and two rotors rotating opposite directions... They fly slow and are very stable... It makes a great combination for indoor flight... You can fly around and practice your inputs in various orientations, etc.. and at the same time it's safe enough that if you sail it into a wall or something there won't be any damage... (Heck I even use my XRB to chase the dog around sometimes.. LOL)
Any of the other fixed or collective helis are going to be pretty twitchy and much easier to damage should, no... make that WHEN something happens...

I agree that the lama v4 is a good choice, but it's a little bit pricey though. If you are looking for something a bit cheaper, I would recommend the reflex from air hog. While definately still at the 'toy' level, this 3 ch copter has worked great for me

I gota disagree about the reflex. I say don't buy it. The controls are VERY laggy. At least 1 second interval between transmitter movement and actual response.
The Lama is perfect for indoors.
I have the Saber Strike (discontinued). It still works perfect.
