I just eBayed a set of these...before i asked anybody any questions. My bad:oops:. Was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them. They are from RCSupersales. net. Should I worry or be happy?

Are those the Align grips? If they are I use them and have never had any problems.

No, Not the Align grips. I compared the two and see that Align's have a plastic inner control arm piece (I think). RCSupersales' are all metal. They look better than Align's.

I have not seen these before but they look ok, I would give them ago and see how they perform.. how much did they cost.

These cost $47.00USD plus shipping. Kyle at RCSupersales.net has emailed me a few times already and seems like a great guy to deal with. He has a few more items worth looking at as well.

why not just spend the fex extra dollars and get the align ones? I just got mine for $50 brand new from the LHS... when i orderd my pro kit. then you'd know they are of good quality

I've got a set of those grips and they work fine. They don't come with the thrust bearings - the Align thrust bearings work fine. I don't think there is any difference in performance between those and the Align grips. The machining on my set was very good.

Thanks, that is what I have been looking for. I am learning now that metal grips are hard on the dampners and transfer more loads on the machine because they are less/not flexible. Primarily, I am concerned with safety and not having the grips come apart thus throwing large knives at a high rate of speed in all directions. The performance factor was secondary.

I liked the looks a lot better than the Align set. All metal. I didn't care about the money.

Can you use the orig. shaft to it?

IcemanCharlie,
I understand the thrust bearings must be reused from the origional grips as well as the bolts. Not sure what you mean by 'shaft'.

I imagine the feathering spindle in which case the answer is yes
