I find wind is an issue when flying my Axe CP but how does it affect the T-Rex 450se v2 which is only slightly larger but more powerful? Has anyone flown both -- what are your thoughts on these two models in respect to performance in wind?

the t-rex will be fine as long as it's not crazy wind. i fly my belt cp in wind and it's about the same size as the t rex and the weight is about the same i think my belt is even a little lighter. just need to cool cause the wind will push it around .

Thanks -- so would you say the wind pushes both around roughly the same way?

I have both the Axe cp and the T-rex 450se and the T-rex is quite a bit larger especially when it comes to main rotor size. I havent flown the T-rex yet so i cant really say but just by size alone and the fact that i will of course be using a heading hold gyro i am sure i will be able to take it out on breezier days. My Axe stays indoors when the wind gets a movin. If you look at the diagram of the Blade cp next to the Blade 400 on the e-flite website http://e-fliterc.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=EFLH1400 that will give you a real good idea of the difference in size between the Axe and the T-rex. I am just waiting for my Blade 400 to come in so i can use the radio to fly it and my T-rex. My LHS says the warehouse should have gotten them by today which means they should hit stores this week.
