Hi all
I recently started to look at head speeds with 2 different battery packs on a Mini Titan (stock ESC/motor and Align wood blades). One is a FP 2500 EvoLite and one Revolution 2100 3S pack. I have set the ESC into governor mode and have tried to follow Finless's CC ESC set up procedure - so I find the headspeed at 75% and 85% throttle setting in non-governor mode and then find what throttle setting I need to have in governor mode to get those headspeeds (I did it on the Rev pack and it was 2460 rpm and 2640 at 75% and 85%).
But with the ESC in governor mode and a flat throttle curve in the TX I get quite different head speeds on the two packs (about 500rpm difference, it's less on the FP pack). Is that normal, has anyone else found this? Do people normally stick to one type of battery pack?
Thanks in advance
Bill
