For sale is a 450xl, Includes Align 430L motor, Align 25 Amp speed control, 4 x Hitec HS-55 servos, Futaba 401 gyro. It's just as I got it this Summer, and recently I got it out of storage and flying with only trim adjustments on the Tx (after I figured out the correct swash settings). Here's a short video of it hovering in my storage building:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmmsVUSt22k

The only flaws I can see are:

1) the left landing bow has been repaired.

2) there's a taped crack in the top of the canopy.

3) Minor dings in the main blades and tail blades.

See accompanying photos...

I haven't flown the heli in FF or FFF, just one day of test-hovering. It hasn't been flown at all since the video was made. I've decided one heli is enough and I'm keeping my Logo 10.

Asking $250 shipped/OBO to the lower 48 states. If you are in AK or HI, please let me get a shipping quote after I pack it up. If you don't already know me, I'm also Al P at RCGroups.com and Logomaniacs.com .

This would be a great way to start in the 450 size helicopters without a big investment.

Do you know if that is the XL HDE with mechanical mixing or the XL CDE with CCPM mixing? I'm also guessing that no battery or receiver is included since one was not mentioned in the copy.

By the way, nice job with the fine tuning and hovering! I'm looking for a winter project and like what you've done with this.

Hi Bill,

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar enough with Align products to know which it is. I can check the swash settings on my Futaba Tx if that would help.

No battery or Rx is included in the price. However, the battery in the video is a TP 3s2100 Prolite with matching Deans Ultra connector that I could include for $40 extra. I'd say it has 12-20 flights. The Rx is a Berg 7 with horizontal pins, I could let that go for $40 extra.

Thanks for the kind words. It took me a while to figure out the swash setup for my Tx.

Let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for your interest !

Hi Brendan,

The shipping cost would be prohibitive for overseas. I was at the post office this Summer and a similar box to Austrailia was $50 to ship and expected 10 days to arrive. Sorry mate...
