those are great additions to the hurricane aftermarket parts lists steve!, other colours i'd like to see the landing gear in are red and blue to mach the canopy colours. i also can't wait to see the alloy parts you release, and of course i was after a rotorworks frame but i couldn't wait any longer as the flying season is almost over here :(

Are the landing gear the same size as the stock ones or (hopefully) a bit wider?
I'd want whatever colour shows up the best at a bit of a distance, bright green, orange, red, whatever...

10mm wider, just enough to get better stand when landing.

here is how tough the neon gear is as they are made of plastic/fiberglass mixture. Strong but flexible almost indestructable.

Will the CF tail boom come in both lengths? Stock and short?
I did some measuring the the Hurricane 550 tail boom uses thinner metal than the Trex 450 tail boom.

We plan to release both versions with carbon fiber material.

The metal head & tail look really nice. What are the differences between the HeliDirect CNC head and the Gaui CNC head?
helidirect

thanks,
They are from different factories. The ones you saw on the pictures are aftermarket parts.

I realise that, what I meant is what advantages does the HeliDirect head have over the Gaui head? Why should I choose one over the other?
Thanks in advance! :)
EDIT: Ok, just looking I noticed straight away that the washout elbow links are part alu, compared to the completely-plastic Gaui parts. :YeaBaby:

I will be testing both to see more on performance. But the most difference will be price.

Sounds good. Price is a good difference because with the Gaui head you seem to pay a lot for what you get ;)
