If I make up a cord to connect my BC5 e-station battery charger (consider any Lipo charger that has a NiCd setting) to a DX7 transmitter that has the original battery will it charge properly?

The battery will still be hooked up to the internals of the transmitter so will this make the delta peak detection fail? Does the supplied wall charger work differently?

The lowest setting my charger has is .1Amp (I assume it detects the voltage automatically), I know the fuse inside is also .1 Amp, can/should I charge at a higher amperage?

You can't charge a ni-xx pack with a peak detection charger at such a low rate. I'm not sure what size pack the DX-7 has in it, It could be a 1100 or higher mah pack. If so, charge at 1 amp.
