I also just got my x9303 last week :) but I found an interesting post on runryder:
http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t360153p10/ (http://www.runryder.com/helicopter/t360153p10/) read the last post on the buttom of page 10. That the X9303 ONLY runs at 2048 res when bound to the R921 or AR9000? Then runs only 1024 res when bounded to the AR6000/AR6100/AR6200/AR6300/AR7000
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Not sure I will not be able to tell the difference since I am moving up from a 9C with a 63ms CCPM mixing time ;)

I've been flying mine for a couple of weeks now, you're going to love it! ;)
Not sure about the resolution... have to look into that...
The 1024 resolution is a limitation of the receivers. The AR9000 is currently the only receiver that supports the higher resolution. I seriously hope they release updated 7100's and 6000's it should only be a firmware issue.
Or at least release some low end 7 and 6 channel receivers that run at 2048.
Does the 2.4ghz 9303 balance all funny like the DX7 does?

Do any of the existing attachments for the DX7 work to fix this?
John
Congrats!
When I switched from Futaba 6EXH 72MHz to DX7 I was feeling like I have to learn how to fly once again.
It took quite a while to get use to it.

In adddition to having 2048 res on R921 and AR9000, there's also two types of fail-safe avalible on these recievers.

Yes Servo sync works the same as on DX7

Hey Dog, I have a 9Csuper and I'm planning to get the DSX9 (X9303 Euro spec) when available here.
May I ask, are there any shortfalls with the X9303 - like features you had on the 9C that you miss not having on the X9303? I gather that for example there is limited or no, switch assignability on the JR unit whereas on the 9C you can assign pretty much everything, So, anything else you miss???

Only true annoying item I have is that there is no throttle linked timers, you have to remember to toggle the trainer switch, I liked having the ability to link it to like 5% throttle, as I have just switched, and I'm just as likely to forget. The reason I did change was from recent crashes due to wrong model tho, and model match etc is great. As for switch assignments, I'd rate them the same (I also just came from a 9C), and not being able to use the gyro screen w/ a 6 channel receiver is only a very minor inconvenience, just plug it into aux1 (gear), and once thru setup for a 401, I really never access it, so not a big deal. It really isn't any harder to access gyro screen, vs atv screen. Programming isn't any better/worse, just slightly different. The one major difference is the items they bury on the model selection screen vs with the rest of the items.

I think the only other thing (other than the throttle linked timer which is cool) that I have heard of (never owned a Futaba) is the lack of a dedicated throttle cut button.
OTOH, no one ever saw a need or market for an aftermarket book on programming JR. :)

Yes the switch assignments and timer is my only gripes right now. OTOH 7 point curves, ease of programming, and endless other little "nice to haves" are winning me over.

Did you order from Todds too? I got a tracking number for mine yesterday but it seems DHL is only aware something is going to be shipped, not that it's actually left Todd's shop. :)
