Hi all,

I've been waiting to upgrade my JR6102 to a 9303. I'm looking at the X9303 but it does not appear to be backward compatible to my PCM and FM rx's.

Does anyone know if JR plans a tri-band radio? I'm doubtful. I would like to upgrade the radio but my fleet of ten birds will be pricey to upgrade all the rx's.

My current thought is to go for it and replace the rx's on my larger birds; 2 trex 450's and a 600 and leave the little guys for now, are there low cost 2.4Ghz rx's (4 chan) around?

thoughts?

Cheers,
Leslie

No, they are not compatible. And join the club.

I would not expect it. You could get a XP9303 and a Spektrum module, therefore you could switch back and forth. And XP9303s are becoming cheap on the used market as people buy X9303s.

Nope, cheapest is the AR6100s which are about $40 street price.
