New to this,
in the rx, I have power to it, where does the binding plug go in the rx, does it matter which slot?

I use the switch harness that came with the radio. Plug the battery into the harness and use the charging lead to bind the system.

On my AR6100s, I put the bind plug into an open slot and on my AR7000, I use the lower, horizontal slot.

The instructions say to use the Batt port. So I have been following the instructions. :dontknow
But if Skiddz says any port will work, I will have to try that.
I don't have a switch harness, so can't try that. :) Spektrum Module in JR 9303.

I don't think any open slot will work, it has to be the Batt slot. At lease that's what I've notice when I plug in Aux2 instead of Batt.

To be honest, I'm not sure which slot on the 6100 I'm using. It's the one I can reach without pulling the Rx from the heli so it very well may be the batt slot.

To quote Joe Helicopter:
"A $2 servo extension in to the battery slot and a zip-tie to the heli makes your re-bind a lot easier"
No reason to move the Rx or have to try and reach in there.

So to confirm:
If I don't have a switch harness, I plug the bind plug in the battery port of the receiver, and plug the Rx pack into the throttle channel (channel 1)?

you can plug the reciever pack into any open slot... then bind plug into battery slot.

Bind plug in Batt port.
Power into any other port.
