Hello...

Are there any heli's similar to the Honeybee FP available for Phoenix?

Thanks

The Spark, though a CP heli, is close to the HBFP. I started out learning to fly the Spark; however, I have also trained on a variety of helis in Phoenix RC over the past 10 months of flying the HBFP. I currently own a stock HBFP (w/AR6100 Rx) and a modified HBFP with the Slo-Max 300 main motor, GWS DD Tail motor and Kyosho M24 blades. If you are interested, below are a few of my HBFP videos.

Training on Phoenix RC has been the key to me learning to fly the HBFP. I'm about to move onto 450 size CP helis; however, I will always have a couple of HBFPs in my fleet. The HBFP is a great little heli and contrary to popular belief, it can be flown in the wind (see the second video).

EDIT: Below is a video I recorded flying the Spark. I set up the winds at 10 mph blowing from the right of the screen. As you can see, the flight characteristics are similar to the HBFP, especially for the tendency of the Spark to "wind-vane" into the wind due to the heli having a rate gyro. As you can also see, the tail is a little loose indicating the gain in the rate gyro needs increased; however, I didn't make the adjustment. Anyway, Phoenix RC is awesome and I highly recommend this simulator.
