I just purchased a brand new (perfectly blalanced) set up Align woodies. I need some clarification here....when I switch to the Align woodies my blades are out of track and I am stuck adjusting the long linkages back and forth to fix this.
-Why are they out of track when my TT woodies were in track?
-Should I only be using the long linkages on one (master) blade to adjust tracking? What about the short linkages to the grips? When I adjust these it usually throws the pitch off quite a bit.
Thanks.

first make sure the blades are balanced correctly. for that refer to finless bob's videos under his "tech room" here at helifreak.com.
when you have your swash level...blades at 0 degrees pitch....spool up and bring the heli into a hover. check the tracking status and adjust as necessary. the small links attached to the blade grips are for making "big" changes. the long links (mixing lever to swash) are for making "small" changes.
i personally like to designate a master blade that i avoid making any adjustments with. that way i know my pitch range will always be where it should be.

Hi, i'm also flying a Mini Titan stock setup.. But i found out that the plastic head can only track the stock woodies easily.. When i changed to Align 325 pro blades, it fails to track badly and no matter what i did to adjust the linkages, it just refuses to track..
I've friends on partial and full metal head setup and they could track any blades effortlessly.. Somehow, i feel that there is a flaw in the plastic head of the MT..

This has been discussed over a million times now, so a search would have given you all the answers ;).
The flaw, wich is not a flaw when you continue to use TT stock blades btw, is a combination of the long flexible plastic griparms and the flexibility of the upper mixer arms.
When you buy the new reinforced grips or shorten the blade griparms with 5mm (exacto knife) and switch to allu upper mixerarms...
You can fly any blade available for a 325 heli without trackingproblems.

I really wonder why the chassis in cars is not made out of plastic? Would be lighter .. No? Arghhh.. Too bad..
And the wheels bearing holders in plastic..?? Still no ?? Why ???
Just a joke..
Happy flying..

If it's properly designed, plastics Rock!
