Hatori Pipe for TT39

I'm pretty sure but not 100% that a Hatori SAB 6RS for the OS.37 will fit my TT.39/Raptor 30V2.

Am I wrong?

I went ahead and ordered it up. I sure hope it gives me a power boost over that lousy stock muffler. It is very quiet though,but that's all it has going for it.

A perfect fit except the port is VERY small. I had to do some dremel work on it to match the port as best I could. Sheesh, for the money you'd think they'd match the port to the motor a bit better.

I'll try it out tomorrow and hopefully have some positive results.

You might regret the porting work. They spend an insane amount of time sizing the ports. pipe diameter, and baffle shape/location to tune these pipes for max power..
let us know which port you changed, and how it runs.

I was only able to reach into the Hatori inlet only 1/4" so I doubt I messed it up. Basically I chamfered the port at about a 45 degree angle, 1/4" deep so it would blend a bit better than just a big flat surface. BUT, we'll see today after it warms up a bit so I can test it out.

Well I flew it today and there was no power increase that I could discern. It has the same exact needle settings as before. Oh well, it sure is pretty and it's one piece.
