Ion-X questions for Chris

I posted this on RR but apperantly someone does not like you talking to us over there.

I was wondering what set-up you were currently flying on your Ion-X.
I am currently looking at powering one with the 32-3. I am not sure what ESC. I know that the Tanic 8880 5s4p x 2 for juice is giving 8-10 of 3D. Do you know what the TP 8000 5s4p x 2 are getting?

Hi Lou,

Check out the Ion-X forum hear on Heli Freak.

I’m not Chris but I am flying the Ion-X with the 32-3 heli specific motor and Thunder Power 8000s. 10 minuets of 3D takes 6000 to 6500mah, your results may vary. This is the best all around power setup I have used in the Ion so far.

As for the ESC the Hacker unit works fine, mine is the Master 77-3P that came with the first Ions, I am running it in timing mode one as per Chris S. What ever ESC you use set the timing advance below 10 degrees. Also use the UBEC/ultimate battery circuit eliminator from Koolflightsystems.com :!:
