I was wondering, since my goal is to take good stable video with my heli (one day), what I would have to do to it so it can be as stable as possible?
Larger blades and slow the head speed? Cut the pitch down to +8?

Hover at half stick and add some flybar weights to it

slow the head speed
reduce the cyclics and set up the pitch curves for a hover setup
go to heavier paddles and flybar weights
change to a less smoky fuel, say 20% nitro from 30%
basically you would want more of a contest setup (stable) vs 3d (un-stable)
find a competition flyer in your area and ask them to help you out.

Heavy blades with wide chords also make a machine very stable. :)

Thanks! I thought my flybar was 4mm? I will have to check when I get home.
