got a question on a gasser

OK i have ask some hobby shops and have not got a good answer. so i want to hear what you have got to say and it a not that hard of a question. I know that Century heli and Ex cell make a gas heli but can a guy put a gas moter a 23cc or 231 in a 90 size heli. or can a nitro heli be made to fit a gas moter. I am in the market for a gas heli and i really like the Century but i would like to know if there are other options out there thank for the help

anything can be done , if you have the time , ability and equipment ..... but in reality , why try to reinvent the wheel ?

Yep, why reinvent something that is already great - go for the Century Preddy - I love mine.

Thank for the info but as you know thunder tiger and other nitro heli have got the biggest share of the market and part are available in about every hobby shop for a nitro heli that is why I'm asking can a guy put the gas moter in a 90 size heli. are nitro part inter changeable with a gasser the only way you can see a gasser is to order it you can go to a hobby shop and the nitro is king. I would think with the way nitro feul cost their would be more players get in the field of the gas machines or is it a mod that can be done already and we are not taking advantage of it that all i'm trying to find out. So i'm not try to invent something but if gearing ratio is the only mod you have got to do well that would be a hard won to modify if you have got to modify the frame well we I better start looking at a gasser only heli.

to the guy's that owen a Century can you take a nitro predator 90 part and put it on your gasser 90 or can a spectra g owen do the same.

Most of the Parts in my Predator Gasser are the same as in my Predator MAX (90)

The only parts that are different are the lower frames in order to accommodate the wider gas engine and in the clutch system for the different gear ratio.

In fact, the gasser comes with a longer boom and drive shaft, but I had a slight dumb thumbs mishap from slight boom strike from a hard inverted auto landing and subsequently replaced it with the same boom and shaft for the MAX.

I find that this boom is more then long enough for the blades I use on both (710mm or 720mm) so I can say they are now both the same other then the lower frames.

Thats the info a guy has got to know the lower part of the heli is diff for a nitro bird.but a lot of the parts well inter change. now that was some good info Thank you

Thats way cool, can you post some info on how you did that , engine used, how you made it fit ?

Main thing in this conversion is fan, modified on lathe to fit on a tapered Zenoah shaft...

Engine is stock G321, I made base plate, and two side plates to fit Zenoah engine.
