Align Step Down/ Trex 600 N

I will use step down between my 401 Gyro and rudder servo (9254). For throttle servo I am going to use 9252, do i also need step down for the 9252 servo. If so, will I put it between the gv-1 and throttle?

naw, i'm pretty sure you can run the 9252 at 6 volts
