With the the market for 50 size ships growing, the introduction of the OS 50hyper and I've heard a YS50, does anyone know it there are any plans for MA to market a 50 sized ship. I've heard they are working on a 50 electric, but I like the smoke and sound of glow engines. I know that there was a 50 Fury, but from what I gather it never really took off.

Just wondering, some of us would like the quality of MA, but are not ready for the 90's.

I doubt it will ever happen. 50 size machines are just not MA's meat and potatoes market and I can't imagine there would be that many folks out there that would want to pay a premium price for a 50 when the plastic fantastics can be had for much cheaper.

A 50 sized electric is under development (early stages). A 50 sized wet model is not planned at this point in time for some of the aforementioned reasons.

Yes, Ben is 100% correct. At Birmingham, Tim was talking about a 50 size version of the new Stratus !!! I understood that an electric and a nitro version would be available??? I can't wait to see it.

I was asking if there is talk of a MA micro. A little bird told me that there was enitial thought of it. Sorry way, off topic, but everytime I hear "Spectrum", I wonder what is next.

Even if MA comes up with a 50 size machine, I would imagine that it would be very much the same concept of thier earlier 30 size machine. The older 30 sized machine was basically a 60 size heli. Only with shorter tail boom and shorter blades.

Those MA 30 size machine flew very well, but the crash cost is similar to a MA 60 size machine simple because it was using the same main shaft and all of the other components from a MS 60 size machine.

So if they ever had a 50 size Stratus, it will probably be using the same parts of the 90 size Stratus.

In a nut shell, what you'll have is a very expensive 50 size machine to mantain.
