Hi guys,

A long time since my last post here. Too busy I imagine ;-)

This year, I started shooting Aerial Videos. It's not so bad but there is still some place for improvments. 2008 will be the year to refine equipements and technics.

If you don't mind to take a look, here is a couple of videos I shoot this year:

Wow very very cool... those church shots are way up there dang. I just strapped my first custom made mount (2 pieces of wood, tie wraps and velcro) to my own TRex 600 yesterday...now I realize how hard it is to fly a) smooth and b) high up. Nice job!

Actually yeah, that first shot in the video looked like a fist gen maxi joker with the kick tail.

I use 2 maxi joker 1, one straight boom and the other with the kick tail. Old stuff I know but these Joker are so well made... they can live forever (well, if they are well maintained). I'm just afraid to not be able to find parts for them in the future cause they are now outdated (or they will be soon)...

The camera mount is the HCS E4 mount and my video camera is a Sony HC3.

ok hey that was really cool stuff . what sort of camera were you using for the video .
And when you were flying over the suspension bridge where the hell did you take off and land from ??

steve28: there is a road on one side of the bridge (you can see it in the beginning and the end of the pvCoaticookDecalade.wmv movie). Two assistants and one police man was there to securely stop the traffic to let me take off and land. You should have seen the eyes of the kids in many cars looking the at heli flying over the road :-) That was cool.

outoffocus et Marc : Merci pour vos commentaires. Effectivement, je suis du Québec, de Joliette en fait. Je vole dans le club CARC Lanaudière aussi (quand j'ai le temps). Marc, j'ai vu que tu étais du club Brossair, j'aimerais bien aller y faire un tour un de ces 4 (j'pourrais vous prendre en photo... des airs). Au fait, est-ce que le club va rester ouvert (il n'y avait pas un problème avec un ministère il m'essemble)?

Tu es le bienvenu quand tu veux. Pour le club nous devions avoir des nouvelles cette semaine mais la réponse ultime n'est pas pour bientôt. Dans ton vidéo, quelle église filmais-tu? Sa ressemblait à Celle de Boucherville.

Je savais que je la connaissais, je suis allé à un mariage là. Pour le club en hivers c'est ma première année. Je sais qu'on a un Fun Fly d'hiver parce-que j'y suis allé. Ce week-end le chemin était pas déneigé mais on était quelques uns à voler. Un seul fou d'hélico!!

J'ai posé la question pour le déneigement, mais je sais qu'il y a souvent du monde et on chauffe la cabane au poêle à bois. Apporte ton café!
