Any one out there using a Futaba 3154 or 3153 on their mini T cyclic? Is it any good??? Will it fit perfectly on the servo mounts? Thanks!!

I have been using HiTec HS 56HB servos, analog, but great servos. Have crashed it hard a couple times without any damage. You need to shave the servo mounts on the heli a little bit for the fit. About $26 a piece.

I use JR DS285 digital servos for the swash...they're small and fit perfect.

These servos are the same as the DS385 servos right? I was hoping for some reviews on the Futaba too. I have better support for them in Singapore. :) But no matter how, thanks for your inputs!

The DS285 is the JR DS385.

do u use the rubber grommets for the JR servos? maybe some pictures would be great to see how the servos are mounted on?

Yes, I use the rubber grommets and the brass sleeves to mount the servos...I'll take some pic's tonight...

No need for all that on a small electric, just hard mount them.

Thanks alot! Any idea if the replacement servo arms are standard or a micro size? i cant seem to find any replacement for my ES375 servos in my lhs.

I believe the servo arms are standard size. I use the arms that came with the servos and just cut off the remaining arm positions I didn't need.

For the ones who do wonder,
The holes are lined-up with center servo, so functionally no difference there with other servos.
They shape them like that to put more material (= more strength and stiffness) between torque-center and linkage point.
The more curved the edge of the stressed shape is, the stronger it will be.
That's why using a servo wheel is the stiffest solution..;)
