I am liking the new JR x9303 but need some help with the gyro selections. I figure I will phase out my old Futaba stuff as I break or sell helicopters.

Could someone please make a Futaba = JR comparison

Like is a 7703D ~= 611 what is the JR equivalent to a 401?

phone still works sweetie pie, I'm just a call away.
besides, the 7703D is about the cost of the 401, and better than the 611, what else do you want to know?

#1 You are a JR guy now???
#2 I figured "others" may benefit from the pros knowledge of this.

Never been fond of Futaba, I've been flying JR for over 25 years.
I do or did fly futaba servos because everyplace seemed to have gears in stock, but thats changing..

Bottom line; the 7703D is a bit more intensive to setup, you don't have the screen or extra ounces of the control box, the 770 is just a tad larger than the 401 and does not have a LED, however it holds like no other gyro I've tried.
