Howdy ya'll. Well, it is about time for me to dust off the ole heli and get back into the hobby after the usual hiatus I have every year. (if it ain't college taking up my time, its pilot training!) Anyways, I have a MX400 with mostly metal everything and the eCCPM kit. I have your run of the mill hitec hs-55 servos and an hs-50/gy240 on the tail. I also have the trex flybar and gorilla paddles. I remember the last it flew, it was flying pretty good. Right now I have the align 35a esc and 430l motor. I have a jgf 450th in the box waiting to be thrown on. Oh, and I run TP2100's.
I am in the market for some upgrades, and I was looking for some input. It looks like the 347mm tail boom is a good choice with the SAB 320mm blades. As far as ESC upgrades (I think my align esc is junky, and it cuts out every once in a while) what is the hot ticket for the jgf 450th? I was looking at the quark or castle creations 35a. What would ya'll recommend for servos? I know there are a lot of mounting issues servo wise. I glued the black nuts to the servo mounts and it works OK, but it ain't the most secure or slop free method. I know someone is going to tell me to use the search button, but I have been! I don't have a whole lot of time to mess around on here with minimum 12 hr work days 5 days a week. Thanks!
