You know Align want to stay on top!!! Now that the T-Rex 500 is about to come out and they know the T-Rex 700 will be a hit!!! Just look at how far Align has come. The 450, 600E & N are a hit. The new 500 will be a hit!! Alot of people want to see the new T-Rex 500 under the Xmas tree. I would say after the New Year come in, people at Align will sit down at the computer and start working on the 700 T-Rex. Like yourself, I can not wait to see the next T-Rex helicopter!!!

My understanding is they will be doing a 90 (Trex700) and it will be designed with Jason's input. He needs a 90 to fly now that he is 100% Align!
I haven't owned a 90 since Nov 2006 so I am looking forward to getting this one when it comes out.

It will make sense to think in the 900$ to 990$ area if they can go lower with metal heat and all the nice stuff! they will kill all the other ( N9, Aurora,Stratus)

i cant wait!

I have heard through some sources that the 700 should be out around the first quarter of next year. About 3 or 4 months...but you know how rumors start. Just what I heard.

I talked to Jason Krause last June and he said that the he was going to start working on the 700 as soon as the 500 came out. I hope we all see his latest creation by this April.

Sheesh, I hope it's out by april that would be sweet! But I won't be surprised if it's later.

I just hope it comes with most of the usual "upgrades" already in place... I know that bling increases the costs but IMO plastic blade grips/seesaws/mixing and washout arms have no business on a high-performance bird, .50 OR .90 size. I'd rather pay an extra hundred bucks for the kit than have to go back and buy the "right" parts a second time... JMO, flame suit on:D

I think the best case is late March into April for a prototype Jason uses in XFC, etc... Later production. I was wrong on the 500 as I thought for sure it would NOT be out by Xmas. While it did come out as you saw limited quantity.

however for a 90 Trex I think there is going to be much more time spent on getting this heli right! I am going to go out on a limb and say June best case for public consumption! i understand this this 90 will have a very different design than previous Align helis. In other words it wont be a larger 600 design. A 90 for people willing to spend on a 90, it needs to be 100% out the door (in my opinion).

People are headed to Taiwan next week to start work!

Wow! that fast to production.....Not bad at all. Still it will give me time to save up for it and the fuel it will guzzel.

Also rumor has it that a new motor in the .98 range which is no bigger than a .90 will be coming soon.....

I agree with Bob that it should be 100%.... I plan to buy one(maybe, if not it will be a Stratus), and I do NOT want to buy any upgrades for it. People who can afford a .90 heli can afford to pay a little more... Did I already say all this? HEHE, well I said it again:D

It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the JR Vibe 90. My LHC for certain reason's are very pro JR, as is our field. This is not a bad thing at all as I have alot of support with JR products and Heli's in general. I was looking at the Vibe 50, it is a gorgeous machine. The Vibe 90 is a benchmark as well. TT 90's are also very solid from what I see. So Align will certainly have to have their ducks in order with this one. I do seem to like the Align designs, and the product support and price points are more in line with my beer income even though I may have champaign taste. :)

I hope Align takes the time and effort to get their 90 as perfect as possible , spare no expense... this will solidify their dominance in the heli market for sure...

from one of the align pilots that i fly with and who is contact with Jason on a regular basis. Jason has complete control of the design of the 90. So, if this info is correct the 90 will be right:YeaBaby::YeaBaby:

Well I hope Jason will be in the factory making the parts too.....quality is first priority on a 90 machine.
