I would recommend Kokams. Why? because I had 3 flightpowers one didn't last 5 cycles, the other two were around a 120 cycles. My oldest 2 kokams have 340 cycles on them each and still have 90% capacity. All these are 3s packs used in a trex.

Many people here have had good luck with Flight Power.

Hey,

Personally I'll also go with the Kokam brand as from experience and what I have seen/heard they are the best. Better reliability and cycle life.
I to have a small 3s 910mah Kokam LiPo which I have had for ages and mistreated in the early days, long before balancing was around and it to is still going strong.

If i'm not mistaken the cells for FP, TP, and Kokam all come from Enerland. BTW, does Kokam offer a 50% crash replacement policy?

Hey,

No, Kokam are Kokam cells not Enerland.
Over-Tec (formerly Overlander) in the UK used to sell (still do) their Poly-PRO range which used the same Enerland cells as FP. However the Kokams are much different, proven in their reliability.
Having said that my Poly-PRO cells and others fliers ones lasted much longer than FP's, strange seeing as their the same.

Not to my knowledge no. But then again why would a company need to offer this in reality, unless it's to pay half the costs when a model goes in through a pack failure?

No seriously it's a great offer getting another pack for 50% off but there must be a reason why they can offer this surely, nothing is entirely for free if you get what I mean.
Perhaps someone can explain to me how & why this is offered by some?

I've not tried Kokam, but the FPs I've had have served me very well. Their service is another HUGE plus.
