Here are some pictures. I will post some more info later. Also there is a detailed thread in the T-Rex 600E section.

I have the similar head design by simple modification to lock the slider in position.

Is there any other electronics needed to fo this conversion? looks very sweet!!

I am still very puzzled whether a leading /trailing edge blade grip position is better.

Any comment.

Dear TUNG,

Do you mean a guiding device for pitch rod instead of using slider lock design?

You need to use leading edge control with flybarless.

Was watching a guy fly a similarly modded 600N over the weekend - he said it was a bit twitchy and tended to want to roll in wind but he flew it very tight and impressively with NO electronics !

Yes, but why. I saw some people still use trailing edge.

Dear TUNG,

I don't mean that. But slider lock is preferrable as has less resistance and no need to have a perfect vertical push rod.

Large bird does not necessary need electronics. The large rotor blades already provide a good deal of gyro effect, as a 600mm carbon blade is 7 times the weight.

Electronic or not , depends:
1) What outdoor condition it is... Very windy then with stabalization is better
2) How sensitive your finger is....
3) What flying style you manage. 3C .... better with electronics.

With longer upper swashplate ball, the cyclic will match the collective gain better.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

Without flybar and paddle, large bird still over sensitive to control.

Event with electronic stabalization, you still need D/R or exp. to calm the cyclic down.

So how much cyclic pitch did you set?

I haven't measure the cyclic degree but just tune to have a similar response/feeling as using carbon light paddle for my Trex600. Pitch set at + - 12
