View Full Version : Align Servo wheels

No matter what I do I can not get them aligned properly. On my TX I have:
Cleared all settings
Pitch curve linear with 3rd point at 50%
Push/pull links perfect
I did replace the gears on all 3 servos. The funny thing is all 3 servos/swash are perfectly aligned mechanically. The swash is just a bit to low at mid stick. My TX has no sub trim (FUT 6ex).
Am I the only one?

Try a different set or move the ones you have to a different servo.
I have yet to have a problem getting them dead on.

they are hitec's . . .you will be better off using the red cross servo horns that come with the servos , that is what I use the 15mm hole.. you will need to use your sub trim to get them at 90..

My servos did not come with a red cross.

What Mike said. I've never had a problem with my Futaba horns and the Align ones were no different. Pull, rotate, check, pull, rotate, check until all options are exhausted. If that doesn't work, try a different servo horn.
Odd, seems I was having a similar discussion on another thread. Glad I'm not the only one Mike :)

Pull, rotate, check, pull, rotate,
Done that countless times. Those wheels are suppose to cover all angles. I guess I will have to use sub-trim when I finally get my desperately awaited X9303.

I couldn't get mine 90 on my 6965's without subtrim either. Ther were also very loose on the spline so I decide to alter the ones that came with the servos.

Each wheel only fit the respecting servos. Gears are specific the servo brand.

I have yet to find ANYBODY that has been able to get the Hitec servos and the Align servo wheels to line up right without subtrim or a servo programmer. Me included!!

i also had the same problem as vteknical on my hs5625mgs. the wheels have a crapload of play in them. i used the red crosses on the swash, and the blue aluminum horn on throttle. im pretty sure the blue horn is unique to mg servos though. the crosses work fine though.
