Well it was supposed to be the CP-L but I was sent the wrong one.. I decided to just keep it and get a $30 credit that I could put towards lipos, ill let you guys know how I like it after my test flight

Had two good flights, actually was able to hover it for a while but ended up ruining my balsa blades. I dig it though

Congratz on your new Axe! I recommend replacing the green NiMH battery for a LiPo soon. I experienced poor tail performance with the uneven power produced by the stock battery. You might find this post helpful:

Have you been flying other heli's before your Axe CP or is this your first foray into RC heli’s? I’m at the nose in hovering stage of learning and I’m curious to see if anyone has gone 3D with a stock (no hold gyro) Axe CP?

I used to fly a concept 30 years ago and recently decided to get back into Heli's so I bought an Axe CP-L. I took it out back and hovered it the first time, and the RC bug was reborn! But I had a misfortune with the Cp-L meeting the side of my house, now I have to replace the blades and the stabalizer controll hub. The blades are no problem, but I am curios about how to realign the fly bar when i replace the hub, any suggestions?

My Axe just met a -- slightly taller than I thought -- shrub which resulted in blades and heli parts flying everywhere! I never did find the head button.

To realign my flybar I simply position it without any paddles on and measure each side until they’re equal. I then place the retaining weights to lock it all down and screw on the paddles making sure both screw in the same amount.
