I have my aileron and elevator mixed with my throttle. I'm also using some expo on the aileron and elevator. Does the expo also affect the throttle that is mixed?

Expo is only on the cyclics. Does not affect throttle. I would think you have aileron and elevator as master mix.

Yes, I have them as the master. But what I'm asking is when I move the aileron/elevator and then the radio mixes in the throttle does the expo that is applied to the aileron/elevator also get applied to the throttle? Follow Me?

This is a very, very, good question IMHO. Never thought of this situation before now. I also have a similar set-up, but am using a Futaba 9CHP. I read in the manual that cyclic expo will not affect throttle. Only by adding expo in the throttle curve menu will one accomplish this. But if you have added a throttle mix to cyclic positions which are dampened around center-stick, etc., one would assume that the throttle would also be dampened/delayed in accordance to this cyclic adjustment. Or does throttle response always remain linear (independent) regardless of cyclic stick mixing being added?

Ok Heli experts, time to chime in on this one! :dontknow

Yes I know what your asking.
No the expo does not affect the throttle thru the PM. Unless you have expo activated on throttle also.
If the Expo is only activated on Aileron and Elevator channels. Then that is the only channels that the Expo will be active no matter what type mix is set.
I would think if your using a cyclic to throttle mix that your not using a govenor or ESC. If using either of those devices, the PM like you have set up is useless. The ESC or govenor controls the throttle all the time.

Your throttle mix gets applied as a percentage of your aileron and elevator input, NOT your stick position.
You will get a given amount of throttle increase at 25 pecent aileron throw, whether that aileron throw occurs at 25 percent stick throw or 50 percent stick throw because you have expo mixed in is irrelevent to the mix.
