I've been having problems with my 61LX running with a Zimmy pipe attached for a while now. It would run fine then suddenly cut out, run rich - turn in the needle a couple of clicks and it would run very lean. It would always start and idle fine. Due to this I had been less than enthusiastic to do more than hover a couple of feet of the ground (full blown autos are not my good side)
I took the deflector of as a suggestion from a mate and low and behold the engine since then has not missed a beat. The Morley is now back to full flight be it rough figure 8's :D
We think that the silicon rubber tubing was vibrating/closing up due to the pressure waves from the engine and choking it.
Anyone else had these symtoms?
