Hi guys!
I have some questions about the Hurricane 550.
What is the max. headspeed with stock main grips?
What is the right headspeed for light 3d?
Thanks for your answers in advance.

Most people suggest no more than 2000 RPM with wooden blades OR plastic head - so either plastic grips or wood blades limit you.
Light to moderate 3D is possible at 2000 RPM.
Basic aerobatics and light 3D are possible down to 1800 RPM (maybe lower) but this is one of those 'odd' factors... experienced pilots will be able to do more extreme manouvers at lower headspeeds because their cyclic management skills are better. However, less experienced pilots (who may wish to fly at lower headspeeds) will struggle to practice 3D or aerobatics at lower headspeeds.
If you wish to learn loops and rolls etc. I'd suggest 1900 - 2000 RPM as a minimum. More 'pop' makes the heli more responsive and can help you get out of bad situations caused by learner mistakes. It also helps make the manouvers happen reasonably quickly.... a slow roll or loop where the heli spends longer inverted than you expected can be worrying if you are not comfortable with an inverted heli.
