Hi,
I have the E-Sky honey Bee 004. recently, when I turn it on the EK2-0702 (4 in 1) blinks red and then blinks red / Green repeetedly, each one for a second.
Touching the Servo's connections solves this sometimes but for a few seconds.
I bring the thruttle up and after a couple of seconds it goes back to Red/Green.
tested my battery - it looks OK.
Can you tell me Whats wrong ?? :(

Check your throttle trim and make sure it's all the way down. Or the throttle channel could be reversed.

:-( ... nop ..
They are all the way down. (thruttle, trim and the polarity is right .. )
any other ideas ?
- Does anyone know if the 4 in 1 should get green when it has only the battery connected (that is, If I unplug the servos and motors .. ) ??

Let's see, If I remember correctly....when you plug it up without the transmitter on it blinks green and red.
It should blink red 2 or 3 times, then green a few times and then it should be solid green when the gyro has initialized.
Some people have had problems with the batteries in the transmitter not having a good connection.

Same guess here...
Whenever I had problems of reception - either TX not on or bad antenna - it would blink that way. Kinda like "no valid data"...
Since you state that fiddling with leads sometimes solves the problem, I'd guess a broken antenna-wire.
Or maybe low voltage in the TX, so you only get reception when being close to the model.
And when there's a connection of problem with the distance between the model and Transmitter, there could also be a broken/fallen-off lead in the transmitter, which connects the HF-module with the antenna...
Cheers,
Daniel

Wren, For the benefit of everyone if Helifreak, you'r right. when the 4 in 1 is ok, it usualy blink a few red ones and the 4 to 5 green blinks and a steady green.
DanyBoy, took your advice and checked the antena (noth on the transmitter and in the 4 in 1) . they are both OK.
I'm still fighting my problem. (the 4 in 1 does not initialize)
- Can anyone check if it initializes while the motors and servos are disconnected ?

Hi all,
For the benefit of the ones to come...
Turned out that my receiver inside the 4 in 1 became faulty.
My local dealer did a very good job - detected it and replaced only half of the 4 inb 1.
now its all back to normal (meening .. I can .. fly -> -> -> CRASH -> -> -> restart :-)
