Hello everyone!

Though everyone's happy fiddling around with their L500 and -600, I went for a second-hand Logo10 to put into my fuselage...

My first Semi-Scale...

I've always been impressed by the friends L10-3D and what he did with it, so when that really cheap package came onto ebay, I did the move... 300€'s not bad for a complete L10, isn't it? ;)

Anyway, I went into customizing and testflight.
First, there is the stretched tail. With the longer tail-boom, I get the almost perfect match in distance between the two rotor-axes that's needed to fit the Funkey Airwolf-30-Fuselage.
Blades are 564mm profiled from AirTech, an austrian manufacture with excellent products. Pitch-Range is now +8,5/-7,5°, plenty of lifting power with the (conscious chosen) 1500RPM. To counter the higher torque and also match a bit better to scale, I installed ThunderTiger 75mm blades which normally go onto the Raptor50.
Motor will be the Kontronik Fun600-15 (15T pinion) that came with it. Originally I wanted to go 6S, but with this motor only 4S were possible. I was a bit sceptic in the beginning, but flights have shown that I do clearly not have the "Oomph" of my friend's 5S-Logo (surprise... He has almost double the power available), but the flight-time of 12min with 3400mAh is absolutely right for me. With the fuse on, I expect 10mins with same used capacity.

Ok, let's get to the question...
During forward-flight, I noticed that the cyclic does not have as much throw as I wished. Sometimes, almost scaringly big stick-inputs are needed.
I did max-out the throws and modify the links (remove the bridge).
There are still the original paddles installed, though the light paddles came with it.

Anyone having expirience about how the light paddles behave versus the standard? Will the roll-rate increase?

I do expect it to get less stable and have quicker responses in cycling, but not higher rollrate.

What do you guys think?

Thanks already now for your inputs!

Cheers,
Daniel

The light paddles make a huge difference in steering authority. As well do good servos that will run on 6Volts. If you run the light paddles and have your throws maxed out you certainly should have a very fast roll rate and responsive heli. My 10 had tons of cyclic and aerobatic ability.
