View Full Version : Washout block for 500 3D?
My 500 3D kit came with the all plastic (0969) washout block. On page 8 of the manual it shows the 500/6003D should come with the plastic-brass insert (0972) one. When I called Aero-model they say the 0972 they have is all plastic:confused:
If you have a 500 3D kit, which one did you get? Any other info appreciated!

Thanks Bruce!

Any concern that we didn't get the 0972?

Can anyone else comment on how their all plastic washout block is doing? Is anyone running the all plastic one? Please tell me if it's holding up ok or if you had binding problems like zguy.
Mine is all plastic and I can't find an aluminum one in stock anywhere.

Yep, I'd love to try the aluminum washout block but they are out of stock everywhere. It looks like you have the ball-raced mixer arms too which would be nice, but at a little over $50 it doesn't fit into my budget now. The aluminum block is only $21.

So does anyone have an extra washout block laying around they would want to sell? I don't care if it's the plastic or aluminum one as long as it has the brass bushing.

The full plastic one will be okay as its for the DX versions.
