How do you secure the packs, have you built a bottom plate sticking out in the front?

Im beta testing some new Airthunder 3200 packs, they only had 5s1p, I felt it was hard to secure them, so either I come up with a good solution, or I chop them up and make a good solid 10s1p from them.

I have no idea, but I am willing to bet if you have any cf plate material you could make a simple and light shelf that you could velcro to the tabs. No real cuttin or hacing that way, that is what I did with my Logo 10 when I had it to make something work...Are these lipos you speak of long in general?

I have a bottom plate for a Logo14 that I was thinking of using.

No, they are about same as FP packs in general, but the front most pack only get one "rubber-band" on it since there is no support outside the frame like it was on the Logo 14.

I work something up :)

I think the bottom plate trick would do the trick.

Mr Mel... I made a very nice plate out of 1/4in. Plexy Glass that worked perfect for my Logo 6003D. I have moved on to a single 10s stick and no longer need it. Shoot me an address and I will pop it in the mail. Is Fedex ok?

I used http://www.espritmodel.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=5055 these to mount my FP 3700 5s1p on. Just some heatshrink over it.

MrMel, ahve you got any pics you can post of this setup with the plate? I am looking at using one myself. Is there any mods needed?

I have 2 duo chargers and don't really want to buy 10s chargers and 10s1p packs if I can help it.

I run 2 5S 4250MAH packs (Hyperion) in my logo 600, i did not use any plate, they all sit there nicely. I just put velcro on the bottom of the packs and the small amount of plate in the tray.
I then made a small serial connector to connect the packs.

Why are people using a plate? Do the smaller 3700 packs slip through?

2 1mm cf plates and heat shrink to hold it together and it is nose dive safe
