Hi all

I am looking for the smallest camera that can be remotely controlled by a cable trigger (activated by a servo) and Image Stabilization/Vibration Reduction?

If the camera was able to shoot RAW-files, it would be great, but it is not mandatory.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

Peter

You can scratch IS off your required list, as it is designed for low frequency vibrations when the camera is hand-held, so is ineffective for the vibes involved in R/C. Also, I believe you are being too restrictive requiring remote control via cable. A servo can directly push the button, plus there are heaps of alternatives such as Blip and Gentled.

What do "Blip" and "Gentled" mean? Are they options for triggering the shutter? I'm interested in this...

If you Google them, you should find their websites. They offer different ways of triggering.

I have a GenLed Focus and a Jomar opto isolated E-switch wired up to a canon remote.
The gentled is much lighter and it works, but I just dont like the way it works. It will focus and take 3 or 4 shots then stop. The E-switch will keep shooting and as long as I keep the switch on. i went back to the big jomar.
