Align Night Blades 325

Has anyone run these on the Mini Titan? Tracking issues?

Hi,

I'm running the new style (white) Align Night blades on my Mini Titan. They track perfectly fine and perform nicely. Tracking problems seem to occur mainly due to the old style plastic blade grips or the upper mixing arms - if either of these are the reason for tracking issues then you will obviously still have problems with the align blades.

Main things to look out for with Align Nightblades:

1. So far a huge number of people complained about poor duration with these. They should last between 60 to 75mins fully charged. In many cases blades appear to be matched - one blade with good duration and one with poor duration (often less than 5mins). The best piece of advice I can give is that when you purchase your blades you ask the retailer to switch the blades on in the shop and check that they last at least 10min. The blades should come from the factory with about 40% charge - if they both cannot last for 10mins then this is a good sign that the blades are faulty. Provided you get a working pair, you should be pretty pleased with them.

2. Check blade balance - I had one pair which required a substancial amount of balancing while the next pair I tried was perfectly balanced. Its worth checking anyway.

hope this helps - I find nightlying with the mini titan tons of fun - makes those early nights seem soooo much less depressive for us heli pilots. Much easier than I expected too.
