Logo 600 Rx battery - where?

Those of you who are using a separate Rx battery, where are you mounting them? The diagram on p.16 of the manual shows a suggested position for mounting an Rx battery, however this means finding a way to secure a battery to thin air!

I'm using a 2S2P 3000mAh LiPo, which is a fairly chunky battery, and I'm thinking of suspending a CF plate under the heli from the leg mounting bolts and fixing the battery to that. The regulator & switch can go there too.

Ok, I can see how that would work. No issues with fitting them under the canopy?

none, even the FP2100 fits.

Wow! There must be more space under there than I thought. I'll see if I can get my 3000 to fit there.

The FP and TP 1350 packs will fit just in front of the motor. I do this on both my Logos.

I needed to put the Rx lipo under the main frame as far forward as possible in the 600 to get CG right - in the 500 it just sits inside the main frame at the back.

Matt, how come your not using a BEC instead of a RX pack? I thought you had migrated most your heli's to a BEC and got rid of the RX packs?

I had my BEC fail, now I'm running my servos directly off the 2 cell pack.

The 3000 is just a couple of mm too thick to fit under the canopy beside the ESC. It will actually go there but it's rubbing on the canopy.

I think I may be swapping to the 2100.
