I am working on my Raptor 30 V1. I cannot get the collective all of the way to the top of the range. It is pretty much free through the rest of the range. I cannot see anything it is hitting. Does anyone have any ideas?

I pulled the aileron and elevator pushrods and now it moves all of the way up. Apparently, my swashplate cannot move all of the way up. Any idea what could be keeping it from moving all of the way up?

It looks like I might have linkage that is binding. I might just go through it all. The blade pitch doesn't match what the scale on the side of my heli indicates.

Swash not moving all the way: check for a bent main shaft - best way is to take it out and role it on a piece of glass (a window or mirror will do if you dont have a table top or such).

Blade pitch not matching scale on side of frame: check linkage lengths with suggested starting point in manual

The shaft is known to be straight.

I think I am getting 12 degrees, but only registering as 6 degrees on the frame.

Ignore the marks on the frame. They are totally useless. You should be able to get about +- 11 degrees with zero degrees at mid stick, but with your 30 you won't be able to use more than 9 or 10 degrees. If there is some binding near the top of collective travel and your shaft is straight, the washout indexing pins may be slightly bent.

I fixed it. The blade grips were on backward. I just had to spin them around 180 degrees. The double links were on the wrong side as well.
