whip antenna installation

I have a Revolution base loaded whip antenna which I'd like to install on my Evo.30. Any opinions as to 'where' it should be mounted?

I mounted mine under the forward tray. Basically held it there with the same velcro strip that I was holding the battery and GV-1 down with. Very simple install and I never had a lick of problems from glitches or anything like that.

I just thought there may have been a special spot everyone knew about on this particular model. I was also concerned of interference. Some suggested under the battery tray with double tape or velcro facing forward in the canopy. I guess I can put it anywhere I want as long as it's not in the way......right?

Pretty much. Just make sure you do a range check at the field with the engine off before you put the heli in the air.
